Request form for access to Valencia resources while out of the country (main continental US)
This request form does not guarantee access to Valencia College resources from locations outside of the United States. If approved, access to email and/or other web-based resources will be available. This does not include VPN access (by default).
The 'Requestor' field within the form should be populated with the traveling person requesting access. Also, please indicate if VPN access (access to on-premise resources including but not limited to shared drives) is being requested in the appropriate field within the form.
Important Notes
- These requests must be submitted at least ten (10) business days before expected travel
- Any and all software configurations, including but not limited to: installation of the VPN client and/or the installation/configuration of the authenticator application need to be performed before the anticipated travel date
- The Microsoft Authenticator application is required for out of country access
- You are responsible for obeying the laws of the resident country.
- Please be aware that there are countries that regulate and/or forbid the usage of VPN clients. It is your responsibility to be aware of, and comply with these laws - As a reminder, VPN clients other than the officially supported and provided client (currently Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect) are forbidden from installation and use on any Valencia College owned technology asset
- Technology support while abroad is performed on a "best effort" basis, with no service level agreement (SLA) guaranteed or implied
- A request must be submitted for areas/territories outside of the main continental US
- Access from the following countries will not be granted under any circumstance:
- People's Republic of China
- Kazakhstan
- Lithuania
- Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea)
- Russian Federation
- Tajikistan
- Uzbekistan
