Eligibility & Position Type
Standard equipment is provided for full‑time positions. While completing this request, please indicate whether the request is for a newly created position or to fill an existing position.
Part‑time positions may be eligible for limited or shared equipment based on role needs. If the employee is transitioning from a part‑time to a full‑time position, or vice versa, equipment eligibility and assignments will be reviewed by OIT.
Important: If this request is related to an employee moving into a new role within the College (for example, full‑time to full‑time or full‑time to part‑time), some previously issued technology may be retained while other items may need to be returned and reissued based on the requirements of the new position.
Technology Expectations
College‑issued technology (such as laptops, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals) is assigned to a full-time employee and is typically repurposed for the next employee in that role. For employees transferring to a new full‑time role, laptops and core technology may be retained and move with the employee if they are appropriate for the new position.
OIT will coordinate as needed to determine what technology should be retained, returned, or reallocated.
Important Note
Please submit this request no later than 10 days in advance of the employee’s start date. This allows OIT adequate time to prepare, allocate, and configure equipment so the employee is ready on their first day.
