Technology Package

OIT will provide and/or verify that there is one standard device setup per full‑time faculty or staff member, unless a documented business need requires an exception.

The configurations listed below represent the College’s Standard (default) device setup, established to ensure consistency, supportability, security, and cost stewardship across the institution.

Requests for devices or configurations above the Standard setup must be based on documented job‑related technical requirements, not personal preference.

These requests require both:
• a documented business justification, and
• review and approval by OIT.

Items outside of the Standard setup are typically purchased using departmental funds and must be reviewed by OIT prior to purchase. OIT can assist with providing a quote if necessary.
