Banner - How to add missing Faculty Tab in Atlas

If a faculty member is missing the Faculty tab in their Atlas account you will need to do the following:

1. Log in to Banner
2. Go to the SIAINST form
3. Enter the VID of the faculty member in the ID field and the current term (example: 201820) in the Term field
4. Next Block (Ctrl + Page Down keys) once
5. Review the information on the SIAINST form
   1. Is the form blank?
      1. If the form is blank, type AC (Active) in the Status field and click on the box next to Faculty and then save (F10 key) —this will activate the Faculty tab within 15 minutes and may require the user to log out and log back in to Atlas and/or to clear their browser's cache and log back in to Atlas to see the Faculty tab. Note that Mozilla Firefox is the recommended browser.
   2. Does the form contain data? If the Status field has IN (Inactive), NA (Not Applicable), or PN (Pending) and the Faculty box is checked, the faculty member does not have access to the Faculty tab in Atlas; you must change their Status to AC (Active)
      1. If the From Term field is equal to the term you entered in the Term field above, type AC (Active) in the Status field and then save (F10 key)—this will activate the Faculty tab within 15 minutes and may require the user to log out and log back in to Atlas and/or to clear their browser's cache and log back in to Atlas to see the Faculty tab. Note that Mozilla Firefox is the recommended browser.
      2. If the From Term field is less than the term you entered in the Term field above, click on the Maintenance icon, type AC (Active) in the Status field, and then save (F10 key) —this will activate the Faculty tab within 15 minutes and may require the user to log out and log back in to Atlas and/or to clear their browser's cache and log back in to Atlas to see the Faculty tab. Note that Mozilla Firefox is the recommended browser.
