How do I determine when a policy or procedure was last updated?

At the top right section of the policy, you will see “Effective Date” and “Date of Last Policy Review”. Within the body after the policy statement and procedures, you will see “Date of Last Procedure Review."

The “Effective Date” is the date when the policy was first developed.

The “Date of Last Policy Review” and “Date of Last Procedure Review” are dates each of those sections were reviewed respectively. In accordance with College Policy 1-09 Policy Development, Review, and Approval, a documented review must occur at least every three years for policies and every two years for procedures, regardless if language changes are made.
