An approved policy takes effect immediately following adoption by the District Board of Trustees.
Procedural updates do not require board approval as required for policies but should be developed in consultation with the Office of Policy and General Counsel, subject matter experts and stakeholders, and the Faculty Council when appropriate. Procedural updates take effect as soon as it is posted on the College website.
