Policy Statement:

1. Competencies and student outcomes shall be developed for each course and program.

    

2. The competencies and student outcomes of a course and program shall be the same whenever and wherever the course is offered by the College. This does not preclude experimentation which has been approved by the campus president.

Procedures:

1. Competencies and student outcomes for each credit course and program shall be developed by the appropriate collegewide discipline, approved by the Collegewide Curriculum Committee, and filed in the offices of each appropriate department chair and the vice president for instructional affairs.

    

2. Competencies and student outcomes for continuing professional education noncredit courses shall be approved by the Central Campus Curriculum Committee and filed in the office of the campus president of the central campus.
