Policy Statement:
- The College shall adopt an annual academic calendar in accordance with Florida Statutes, State Board of Education rules, accreditation requirements, and District Board of Trustees policies. Any deviations from the adopted calendar require approval by the College President or designee.
- The College President or designee is authorized to establish alternative start and end dates for continuing professional education courses and other courses that do not follow the standard academic calendar.
- Each term, the schedule of classes shall align with the approved College academic calendar. The College President or designee may approve a modification(s) when necessary to enhance student access, meet community needs, and/or address operational requirements.
- The College President or designee(s) is authorized to adopt procedures to implement this policy.
