Below are instructions on how to enter final grades using the Faculty Grade Entry page access via Atlas. 

Please Note: Student identifying information has been erased from screenshots.

 

Atlas Faculty Grade Entry

  1. Log in to Atlas
  2. Click on the Faculty tab
  3. Click on the Faculty Services link inside the Faculty channel/box :

 

  1. Click on Final/Midterm Grades

 

You will be directed to the Faculty Grade Entry page:

Grading Status Icons:

  • No Grades have been entered for students in the course.  You may enter the Last Date of Attendance.

  • Some Grades have been entered for students in the course.   You may enter the Last Date of Attendance.

  • All Grades have been entered for students in the course.   You may enter the Last Date of Attendance.

 

You can click on the up/down arrows beside the CRN heading to sort by CRN.

  

 

You can select to display more/less CRNs by selecting the number you want displayed. You will see the option on the right side of the screen below the list of CRNs.

       

 

  1. The page should default to Final Grades; if it does not, click on the Final Grades tab.  You will see all the courses you have taught in the past as well as the courses you are currently teaching.

 

  1. Locate the course you wish to enter final grades for and click on it.

 

  1. Once you click on a course, students will be displayed below the list of CRNs.
    • Depending on the number of courses being displayed, you may need to scroll down to see the roster for the course selected.

 

  1. Once you have selected a student, click on the field with the down arrow under “Final Grade” and update the grade.

  • Final grades of I, W, F require a last date of attendance to be entered.
  • Final Grade of ‘Not Gradable’ indicate the student is withdrawn from the course, grade cannot be updated. The last date of attendance is required for withdrawn students.

 

  1. Once you click on save, you should see the following message on the top-right corner of the screen.
